Here are Thursday’s and Friday’s final scores with late Friday results still pending for Week 5 of the Class 3A, 2A and 1A Texas high school football action from around the Heart of Texas region.
On location in Clifton Friday, THE SPORTS BUZZ On The Air features the Class 3A, Division II Clifton Cubs (2-1) attempt to bounce back from their first loss of the season when they host the Class 2A, DI’s undefeated Hamilton Bulldogs (3-0) at 7 p.m. Friday on Homecoming Night at Cub Stadium.
New this season, THE SPORTS BUZZ On The Air will present one of its weekly 15-minute highlight and interview segments every Sunday at approximately 3:40 p.m., sponsored exclusively by Clifton Feed & Service Center, before the 4 p.m. matinee movie at the historic and beautifully-renovated Cliftex Theatre in Clifton, the longest continuously running movie house in Texas, showing films on the silver screen since 1916.
The Sports Buzz On The Air segment will replay every Thursday at approximately 6:40 p.m. prior to the 7 p.m. feature film at The Cliftex Theatre in Clifton.
