While Class 6A and 5A enter into the postseason, the 2020 Texas high school football playoffs narrow down to State Semifinal games in Class 4A, 3A and 2A this week as the Class 1A finalists have already been determined. So THE SPORTS BUZZ Gridiron Gurus added a handful of Class 6A and 5A playoff games into the mix, along with an assortment of NCAA college football games in Texas as well as the Dallas Cowboys and the Houston Texans.

For the record, our panel proved downright Nostradamus-like last week, collectively posting an amazing 121-27 record, getting 81.8 percent of the picks correct. Wade scorched the grid with a near-perfect week to catch David for the overall lead. His soothsaying made Brett’s strong runner-up effort almost look pedestrian, especially when Wade ended up being the only one picking Carthage over China Spring, Falls City over Christival, and Rice over Marshall.
