FRESH LEGS: Well-rested Clifton boys & girls ready for District 17-3A

October 16, 2019

KEENE – After taking a week off to be fully rested, the Clifton boys and girls cross country teams will compete in the District 17-3A Cross County Championship meet today at Rex Callicott Park in Keene.

Coming off a strong showing at the Mona Gloff Invitational at the Perry Country Club in Hamilton Oct. 2, Clifton cross country head coach Ryan Hunt feels confident that his teams are ready for the district challenge going up against Grandview, Harmony Science Academy, Keene, Maypearl, Rio Vista, West and Whitney.

“We put in a solid week of practice next week, and we’re ready to go,” Hunt said. “We know we’ll have to be at our very best at district, and I’m looking forward to see the kids rise to the challenge.”
