Under the Friday night light: Heart of Texas Class 3A, 2A & 1A teams begin 2021 Texas high school football playoffs with Bi-District match-ups this weekend
As the 2021 Texas high school football season heads into the playoffs, many of the Class 3A, 2A and 1A teams across the Heart of Texas will be staying close to home for their Bi-District playoff matchups.
In THE SPORTS BUZZ Games of the Week, the District 12-1A, Division II champion and 24th-ranked Cranfills Gap Lions (7-3) will take on the District 11-1A, DII runner-up and 12th-ranked Gordon Longhorns (8-2) in a Bi-District matchup at 7 p.m. Thursday at Bob & Norma Cervetto Stadium in Dublin.
Once again this season, THE SPORTS BUZZ will provide award-winning coverage of the 2021 Texas high school football season, focusing on Class 3A, 2A and 1A schools in the 10-county Heart of Texas region — which includes Bosque, Comanche, Coryell, Erath, Hamilton, Hill, Hood, Johnson, McLennan and Somervell counties.
