Road To The State Title: Class 6A, 5A, 4A, 3A, 2A & 1A high school football state semifinal scores from across the state of Texas

Here are Thursday’s, Friday’s and Saturday’s final scores for the Class 6A, 5A, 4A, 3A, 2A and 1A Texas high school football state semifinal games from across the state of Texas.

In the meantime, the Class 1A six-man teams played their semifinal round last week. With two of the four state semifinal games featured as THE SPORTS BUZZ Games Of The Week, the Class 1A, Division I’s the top-ranked and undefeated May Tigers (14-0) held off the third-ranked Abbott Panthers (13-1), 50-48, in a wild state semifinal matchup Saturday night, after the Class 1A, Division II’s second-ranked Strawn Greyhounds (14-0) left no doubt with a convincing 100-54 victory over third-ranked nemesis Richland Springs Coyotes (10-2) in a state semifinal matchup Friday night as both games were played at Dublin’s Bob & Norma Cervetto Stadium.
With the win, May advances to the Class 1A, DI state championship game for the second straight season to take on the eighth-ranked Westbrook Wildcats (10-4) at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 15 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, following the DII state title game featuring Strawn facing top-ranked Motley County (14-0) at 11 a.m.
