As we head into the second half of the 2022 Texas high school football regular season, seven Heart of Texas squads remain among the state’s Top 10 teams in Class 3A, 2A and 1A with two ranked at the top of their respective state poll.
The Heart of Texas state ranked teams include Class 3A, Division I’s fourth-ranked Grandview Zebras (4-1); Class 2A, DI’s third-ranked Crawford Pirates (5-0) and ninth-ranked Tolar (5-0); Class 2A, DII’s top-ranked Mart Panthers (6-0); Class 1A, DI’s top-ranked Abbott Panthers (4-0) and fourth-ranked Jonesboro Eagles (5-1); and Class 1A, DII’s fifth-ranked Oglesby Tigers (6-0).
