Under the Friday night lights: Heart of Texas Class 5A, 4A, 3A, 2A & 1A teams move into Area round of the 2022 Texas high school football playoffs with The Sports Buzz in Dublin for the six-man game of the week
As the 2022 Texas high school football season heads into the second round of the playoffs, there will be a full slate of Class 5A, 4A, 3A, 2A and 1A teams playing under the Friday night lights across the Heart of Texas.
In THE SPORTS BUZZ Game of the Week, District 10-1A, DII champion Morgan Eagles (8-3) advance to the Region III quarterfinals to face the District 12-1A, DII champion and ninth-ranked Bluff Dale Bobcats (10-1) in a six-man football matchup at 7 p.m. Friday in Dublin’s Bob & Norma Cervetto Stadium.
Once again this season, THE SPORTS BUZZ continues to provide award-winning coverage of the 2022 Texas high school football season, focusing on Class 3A, 2A and 1A schools in the 10-county Heart of Texas region — which includes Bosque, Comanche, Coryell, Erath, Hamilton, Hill, Hood, Johnson, McLennan and Somervell counties.
