Here are Thursday’s and Friday’s final scores with Saturday games still pending along with each team’s season record for the Class 3A, 2A and 1A Texas high school football action from around the Heart of Texas region.

On location for the Games of the Week in McGregor and Meridian this weekend, THE SPORTS BUZZ On The Air features the Class 3A, Division II Clifton Cubs (2-2) running into a buzz saw as the Class 3A, Division I McGregor Bulldogs (2-2) powered to a 35-7 victory Friday night in Bulldog Stadium.
Other featured games included the Class 2A, DII Meridian Yellowjackets falling to the Milano Eagles 21-6 Friday night at Jacket Stadium.
