GRIDIRON MATCHUPS: WEEK 11

With district races heading into the final weekend with playoff berths still on the line, Heart of Texas squads light up Friday night, so check out the complete Week 11 schedule for Class 3A, 2A & 1A teams in the area

Here’s the complete Class 3A, 2A & 1A schedule for teams in the Heart of Texas region on Week 11 of the 2023 Texas high school football season. Be sure to check back for up-to-the-minute scores throughout Friday night.

On location in Clifton and Meridian this weekend, THE SPORTS BUZZ On The Air features the Class 3A, Division II Clifton Cubs (2-2, 4-5) seeking to clinch third place in District 13-3A, DII when they host the Florence Buffaloes (0-4, 0-9) on Senior Night at Cub Stadium at 7:30 p.m. Friday in THE SPORTS BUZZ Game of the Week.

Other key matchups include the surprising Kopperl Eagles (2-0, 7-2) hitting the road to face the Bynum Bulldogs (2-0, 6-3) in a head-to-head battle for the District 12-1A, DII title at 7 p.m. Friday, while the Walnut Springs Hornets (1-1, 3-6) will be looking to lock up a playoff spot when they host the defending District 10-1A, DII champion Bluff Dale Bobcats (0-2, 4-5) at 7 p.m. Friday.

Once again this season, THE SPORTS BUZZ will provide award-winning coverage of the 2023 Texas high school football season, focusing on Class 3A, 2A and 1A schools in the 10-county Heart of Texas region — which includes Bosque, Comanche, Coryell, Erath, Hamilton, Hill, Hood, Johnson, McLennan and Somervell counties.
