Here are Thursday’s, Friday’s and Saturday’s final scores for the 2023 Texas high school football Bi-District Playoff games from the Heart of Texas and around Central Texas. Results include each team’s updated season records for the Class 6A, 5A, 4A, 3A, 2A and 1A Texas high school football action from around the Heart of Texas region.
On location in Taylor and Jonesboro this weekend, THE SPORTS BUZZ On The Air featured the District 14-3A, DII runner-up East Bernard Brahmas (8-3) thundering past the District 13-3A, DII third place Clifton Cubs (5-6), 55-6, in a Class 3A, DII Bi-District Playoff matchup on a rainy and wet Friday night in Taylor Stadium for THE SPORTS BUZZ Game of the Week.
After winning the District 12-1A, Division II six-man title, the 13th-ranked Iredell Dragons (10-1) made the most of returning to the playoffs in back-to-back seasons by rolling past the Calvert Trojans (4-6), 64-14 in a Class 1A, DII Bi-District Playoff showdown Friday at Jonesboro High School’s Pruitt Field, headlining the six-man football playoff action in the area.
