Here’s the complete Area Playoff schedule for Class 4A, 3A, 2A & 1A teams in the Heart of Texas region and around Central Texas as the 2023 Texas high school football season moves into the postseason tournament. Be sure to check back for up-to-the-minute scores throughout the first round of the playoffs all weekend.
On location in Meridian this weekend, THE SPORTS BUZZ On The Air features the District 12-1A, Division II champion and the 14th-ranked Iredell Dragons (9-1) facing off with the District 10-1A, DII champion and 19th-ranked Bynum Bulldogs (8-3) in a Class 1A, DII Area Playoff showdown at 7 p.m. Friday at Meridian’s Jacket Stadium in one of the key six-man football matchups in the area for THE SPORTS BUZZ Game of the Week.
