Here’s the complete Regional Playoff schedule for Class 6A, 5A, 4A, 3A, 2A & 1A teams in the Heart of Texas region and around Central Texas as the 2023 Texas high school football season moves into the third round of the postseason tournament. Be sure to check back for up-to-the-minute scores throughout the first round of the playoffs all weekend.
On location in Gatesville and Dublin this weekend, THE SPORTS BUZZ On The Air features the 10th-ranked Iredell Dragons (11-1) getting a postseason rematch against the fifth-ranked Oglesby Tigers (11-0) in a Class 1A, DII Region III Finals showdown at 6 p.m. Friday on Tommy Davidson Field at McKamie Stadium in Gatesville in only one of the key six-man football matchups in the area for THE SPORTS BUZZ Game of the Week.
In Class 1A, Division I postseason action, the ninth-ranked Jonesboro Eagles (11-1) will take on the 14th-ranked May Tigers (9-3) Region III Finals showdown at 5 p.m. Saturday at Bob & Norma Cervetto Stadium in Dublin.
