Here are Thursday’s, Friday’s and Saturday’s State Quarterfinal and Semifinal final scores with updated team win-loss records for the fourth round of the Class 6A, 5A, 4A, 3A, 2A and 1A Texas high school football postseason action from across the state of Texas.

On location in Robinson this weekend, THE SPORTS BUZZ On The Air features the third-ranked Oglesby Tigers (11-2) advancing to the Class 1A, DII State Semifinals for the second straight season to face the unranked and surprising Oakwood Panthers (8-5) at 2 p.m. Saturday at Robinson High School’s Rocket Field for THE SPORTS BUZZ Game of the Week.
On their way to a sixth straight win, Oakwood posted a shocking upset by scoring three fourth-quarter touchdowns to secure a 64-50 victory over the seventh-ranked Iredell Dragons in the Region III Final last Friday at McGregor’s Bulldog Stadium.
Oglesby senior running back Kyler Fossett scored six touchdowns while compiling 366 total yards to lead Oglesby over the second-ranked and perennial powerhouse Richland Springs Coyotes (12-1), 60-46, last Friday afternoon at Belton ISD’s Tiger Stadium.
The winner will advance to the Class 1A, DII State Championship game at 11:00 a.m. Dec. 18 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, earning the right to face the State Semifinal victor between top-ranked Jayton Jaybirds (13-0) and the unranked Klondike Cougars (9-4), who will battle at 6:30 p.m. Friday at Wolfforth Frenship’s Peoples Banks Stadium.

New this season, THE SPORTS BUZZ On The Air will present one of its weekly 15-minute highlight and interview segments every Thursday at approximately 6:40 p.m., sponsored exclusively by Clifton Feed & Service Center, before the 7 p.m. feature film showing at the historic and beautifully-renovated Cliftex Theatre in Clifton, the longest continuously running movie house in Texas, showing films on the silver screen since 1916.

The Sports Buzz On The Air segment will replay every Sunday at approximately 3:40 p.m. prior to the 4 p.m. matinee feature film at The Cliftex Theatre in Clifton.
