Here are Thursday’s and Friday’s final scores with Saturday’s results pending along with each team’s season record for the Class 3A, 2A and 1A Texas high school football action from around the Heart of Texas region.

On location in Clifton and Morgan this weekend, THE SPORTS BUZZ On The Air features the Class 3A, Division II Clifton Cubs (2-3) hosting the perennial playoff bound Rogers Eagles (2-3) in the District 13-3A, DII opener at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Cub Stadium, while Bosque County six-man football features the rivalry showdown as the 14th-ranked Iredell Dragons (5-1) visit the Morgan Eagles at 7:30 p.m. Friday for THE SPORTS BUZZ Games of the Week.
