With last second touchdown strike, 12th-ranked Oklahoma Sooners shock third-ranked Texas Longhorns in another classic Red River Rivalry, 11th-ranked Alabama sinks Texas A&M, Texas Tech storms Baylor
In what proved to be a rough weekend for most of the Texas major college football teams, the 12th-ranked Oklahoma Sooners rallied in the final seconds to stun the third-ranked Texas Longhorns in the Red River Rivalry. Only UTSA and Texas Tech walked off the field with victories last week, and the Red Raiders did so at the expense of another Lone State State team.
In other Texas major college action, the Texas A&M Aggies fell short in their bid to upset 11th-ranked Alabama, while the Baylor Bears were cut down by Texas Tech, and Iowa State handled the Texas Christian Horned Frogs.
