Here are Friday’s and Saturday’s final scores for the 2023 Texas high school football Regional Playoff games from the Heart of Texas and around Central Texas. Results include each team’s updated season records for the Class 6A, 5A, 4A, 3A, 2A and 1A Texas high school football action from around the Heart of Texas region.

On location in Gatesville and Dublin this weekend, THE SPORTS BUZZ On The Air featured the fifth-ranked Oglesby Tigers (12-0) pouncing on the 10th-ranked Iredell Dragons (11-2) early and running away with a 62-16 victory in a Class 1A, DII Region III Finals showdown Friday on Tommy Davidson Field at McKamie Stadium in Gatesville in one of the key six-man football matchups in the area for THE SPORTS BUZZ Game of the Week.

In Class 1A, Division I postseason action, the ninth-ranked Jonesboro Eagles (12-1) soared past the 14th-ranked May Tigers (9-4), 86-39, in a Region III Finals showdown Saturday at Bob & Norma Cervetto Stadium in Dublin.
